Buying & selling on Fixonic
Fees & marketplace information
This page puts the main commercial information in one place before you buy, sell or subscribe. For the complete contractual wording, read the Terms of use.

Listings and what you are buying
Fixonic specialises in faulty products, donor devices, replacement parts and repair tools. A listing must describe known faults, missing parts, locks, condition and important compatibility limitations accurately.
Marketplace sellers must already possess the physical item they list and be able to dispatch it. Preorders, digital codes, accounts, credentials and goods sourced only after a customer orders are not ordinary marketplace listings.
Supplier-direct products are different: where a product is explicitly shown as sold by Fixonic, Fixonic is the accountable retailer even if an approved supply partner fulfils the parcel.
Seller fees
Private sellers
No listing-publication fee. A standard 10% successful-sale fee applies to the final item value when the item is paid for. Separately stated postage is excluded from that percentage.
Business sellers
Each compliant business listing that is successfully published incurs a £0.25 non-refundable listing fee, whether or not it later sells. The standard 10% successful-sale fee also applies when a sale completes.
Optional promotion
Private and business sellers can choose an extra promotion percentage from 0% up to 90.00%. It is separate from the standard seller fee and is charged only when that promoted listing produces a successful paid sale.
Promotion can increase visibility among relevant results but does not guarantee a particular position, buyer or sale.
Business subscriptions
Registered business sellers can optionally subscribe to a monthly tier. Subscription charges are separate from listing fees, successful-sale fees and optional promoted-listing fees.

Buyer Protection and payments
The current mandatory Fixonic Buyer Protection fee is 3% of item value + £0.30, capped at £10.00 per order. It is calculated on item value, not delivery.
Buyer-facing totals show the item, applicable Buyer Protection and standard delivery before payment. Use only the payment methods offered inside Fixonic checkout. Off-platform payments are not covered by Fixonic Buyer Protection.
Buyer Protection can apply to eligible problems such as non-delivery, material transit damage, the wrong item/model/quantity or an item that is materially not as described. It does not turn an accurately disclosed fault into a refund reason merely because a repair is difficult or unsuccessful.
Delivery, returns and refunds
Delivery charges and estimated dates are shown separately. Where tracked delivery is promised, carrier and tracking information form part of the order record after dispatch.
For an ordinary private-seller marketplace sale, change-of-mind returns apply only where that seller has chosen to offer them. Buyer Protection still covers eligible material problems. Business/trader sales remain subject to the consumer rights that apply to them.
Eligible Fixonic-retail supplier orders can use different stated delivery guarantees and post-delivery problem windows; those terms are shown on the relevant listing/order and are explained in the full Terms.
Where to check before committing
Before buying: check the listing description, condition/fault disclosures, exact version or variant, seller/retailer identity, delivery cost and date, Buyer Protection amount and checkout total.
Before selling: check the listing review screen and seller fees above. Business sellers can also review the live subscription tiers shown on this page before choosing one.
