Fixonic retail returns
The previously published Fixonic retail contact and returns address is shown below. For each physical return, request and follow the confirmed destination and instructions on your order; do not assume this is the supplier return destination.

Contact support@fixonic.co.uk with your order reference and the reason for returning the goods so we can provide appropriate return instructions or a label where required. Your statutory rights do not depend on prior approval or on a supplier approving or reimbursing a return.
For purchases from an independent marketplace seller, use the order problem or messaging flow for that seller's return instructions and address. Contact Fixonic support if you cannot reach the seller.
Who may use Fixonic
You must be at least 18, able to enter a binding contract, and provide accurate account information. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised access.
Marketplace role
Fixonic provides a marketplace for repairable devices, donor products, parts and tools. Unless a listing says Fixonic is the seller, the purchase contract is between buyer and seller. Sellers are responsible for lawful ownership, accurate descriptions, safe goods, dispatch and applicable consumer obligations.
Repair shops, manufacturers, distributors and other catalogue suppliers must use an accountable Fixonic seller account. Unless a product is explicitly marked “Sold and protected by Fixonic”, supplier approval does not transfer responsibility for stock, product safety, conformity, instructions, warranties, recalls, dispatch, returns or buyer support to Fixonic. Where Fixonic is explicitly the retailer, Fixonic is responsible to the customer for the contract, delivery, returns and refund even when an approved partner sends the parcel directly.
Listings, auctions and orders
Sellers must disclose known faults, missing parts, liquid damage, activation locks, personal-data status and compatibility limitations. Fixonic permits physical repair goods that the seller already possesses and can dispatch. Preorders, presales, goods sourced only after an order, download or gift-card codes, software keys, accounts, credentials and other electronically delivered items are prohibited.
Listing text is checked automatically before publication. A compliant listing publishes immediately; a clear policy violation is blocked. User reports create a private human-review case and do not automatically remove a listing. A moderator may dismiss a report or hide the listing after review.
To reduce throwaway accounts and auction disruption, normal buyer accounts must first complete at least three Fixonic purchases before auction bidding is enabled. Only completed purchases count; cancelled, expired, refunded or still-pending orders do not qualify. Buyers who have not yet reached the threshold can continue using Buy It Now where available. Fixonic may change the threshold prospectively as part of its marketplace-risk controls and will show the applicable requirement before bidding.
A maximum auction bid authorises Fixonic to bid automatically up to that private limit. A winning bid or completed Buy It Now checkout creates a purchase commitment, subject to stated cancellation and consumer rights.
If an original auction winner does not complete payment within the stated payment window, Fixonic may cancel the transaction, offer the item to another bidder and record an unpaid winning commitment. While that commitment remains unresolved the buyer cannot place new bids. After a valid non-payment commitment is resolved, Fixonic may impose a temporary bidding suspension; repeated non-payment can result in progressively longer suspensions. A waived non-payment record does not create that suspension. No monetary non-payment charge is active unless a specific amount or calculation is clearly disclosed to the buyer before the bid is placed and is fair and proportionate under applicable law.
A seller who accepts a paid marketplace sale must honour it and dispatch within the promised period. Where Fixonic can objectively verify that a paid marketplace order remained undispatched beyond the promised dispatch deadline and the additional grace period, without an active buyer cancellation request or another valid exclusion, Fixonic may cancel the order, submit a full refund to the buyer and record a seller delivery-conduct strike. A buyer allegation by itself does not create an automatic seller strike.
Postcode distance is a rounded straight-line estimate, not a road route or proof of parcel progress. Displayed arrival dates combine the seller's dispatch window with stated delivery working days and can change because of weekends, public holidays, carrier delays or address issues. Carrier tracking is the authoritative progress record after dispatch.
Supplier-direct products are reserved for products where Fixonic is the accountable retailer. Marketplace sellers must possess and dispatch their own stock and may not use third-party dropshipping or source an item only after a customer orders it. Stock, price and delivery are rechecked before a Fixonic supplier order is placed, but supplier availability can still change. If a paid Fixonic supplier order cannot be placed, Fixonic will not substitute another item without consent and will cancel and refund the customer. A supplier's separate reimbursement process does not reduce or delay the customer's rights against Fixonic.
For an eligible AliExpress-fulfilled product explicitly sold by Fixonic, the paid order records a no-later-than delivery-guarantee date. If authorised carrier tracking has not confirmed delivery by that date, Fixonic can automatically submit the applicable full refund to the original payment method. After confirmed delivery, Fixonic provides a separate 30-calendar-day customer problem and refund window for these Fixonic-retail AliExpress orders. This Fixonic policy does not restrict any longer or additional right that applicable law gives the customer.
Equipment catalogue records describe a product type and can exist without a live seller listing. They do not promise stock, compatibility or fitness for a particular repair. Buyers must check the exact listing's model, voltage, capability, included accessories, condition and safety information.
Marketplace returns and Fixonic Buyer Protection
Faulty and donor equipment on Fixonic is sold on the basis of the condition and faults disclosed in the listing. For a private marketplace seller, an accurately disclosed fault does not by itself create a Fixonic refund right and change-of-mind sales are final unless that seller has chosen to offer returns. A private seller who opts into returns offers a fixed 14-calendar-day voluntary return window after delivery; once that voluntary window closes, the seller-voluntary return route closes.
Final sale does not mean a seller may misdescribe an item. Fixonic Buyer Protection can still be used for a marketplace order that is not received, is materially damaged in transit, contains the wrong item, model or quantity, or is materially not as described. “Not as described” can include an important undisclosed fault, missing component, activation lock, liquid damage, condition issue or compatibility statement that materially changes what the buyer reasonably understood they were buying.
Fixonic is a marketplace for faulty and repairable goods, so Buyer Protection does not make a disclosed fault refundable merely because the fault exists. A buyer is not covered simply because a repair is difficult, uneconomic or unsuccessful when the seller accurately disclosed the known condition, faults, missing parts, locks and other material limitations before purchase. Buyer Protection also does not cover damage caused after delivery by the buyer or another person, including avoidable damage caused during disassembly, repair, modification, parts removal, liquid exposure, incorrect power, overheating or misuse.
For ordinary third-party marketplace orders, the internal completed-order Buyer Protection reporting window is normally 14 calendar days after delivery. A seller's optional change-of-mind return is also limited to 14 calendar days when offered. Fixonic-retail AliExpress orders use the separate 30-calendar-day post-delivery customer problem and refund window described above.
The seller is given an opportunity to respond to a marketplace problem. If it is not resolved, the buyer can escalate it to Fixonic. Fixonic may review the listing as it appeared at purchase, disclosed faults and missing parts, buyer-seller messages, payment records, tracking, photographs and other relevant evidence. Fixonic may deny or limit an internal claim where the evidence shows that the listing accurately disclosed the complained-of condition, the buyer materially altered or damaged the item after receipt, the buyer did not return an item when reasonably required, the claim is fraudulent or abusive, or the transaction was paid for outside Fixonic.
Nothing in Fixonic's final-sale wording or internal claim windows excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A seller acting as a trader or business remains responsible for all consumer rights that apply to that sale, including any mandatory online cancellation and faulty-goods remedies. Payment-provider disputes, chargebacks, court orders, fraud remedies and other non-excludable rights can also operate outside Fixonic's voluntary return window.
Where an eligible claim is upheld, the normal remedy is a refund to the original payment method. A full eligible order refund normally includes the item price, original standard delivery charge and Fixonic Buyer Protection fee paid through Fixonic. A partial refund may be used only where appropriate and accepted or otherwise lawfully applied. Fixonic or the accountable seller may require the buyer to return the item using reasonable return instructions before a refund is completed.
Buyer Protection does not reimburse repair labour, diagnostic time, tools, replacement parts fitted by the buyer, lost data, lost profit or other consequential loss unless applicable law requires otherwise. A buyer cannot receive more than one recovery for the same loss; if a bank, Stripe, PayPal or another payment provider is already handling the same payment dispute, Fixonic may coordinate with or pause the internal claim to prevent duplicate refunds.
Payments made by bank transfer, cash, cryptocurrency, gift card, Friends and Family payment, direct payment-app transfer or any other method arranged outside Fixonic checkout are not covered by Fixonic Buyer Protection.
UK consumer cancellation rights for trader sales
If you buy physical goods online from Fixonic as the retailer, or from a marketplace seller acting as a business or trader, you will normally have a statutory right to cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after receiving the goods (or the last item delivered in an order). Some limited statutory exceptions apply. This right is separate from, and is not shortened by, Fixonic Buyer Protection or a seller's voluntary return window. A purchase directly from a private individual usually does not include this change-of-mind cancellation right.
To cancel a Fixonic-retail purchase, notify us at support@fixonic.co.uk within the statutory cancellation period. You can use the model notice below or any other clear statement; you do not have to use a particular form. For a purchase from a third-party trader, notify the accountable trader through the Fixonic order-problem or messaging flow. Contact Fixonic support if you cannot reach the trader.
After notifying the trader of cancellation, you normally have another 14 days to return the goods. The trader must refund the amount paid for the goods and the standard outward delivery charge. A refund must normally be made within 14 days after the trader receives the goods back or receives satisfactory evidence of their return, as applicable. Any permitted reduction for handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods, and any lawful return-postage responsibility, are subject to the information supplied before purchase and applicable consumer law. Faulty, misdescribed or unsafe goods have separate statutory remedies.
Optional model cancellation notice for Fixonic-retail orders
To: Groovy Digital Ltd trading as Fixonic, 64 Avon Street, Birmingham, B11 4SE, United Kingdom (support@fixonic.co.uk). I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract of sale for the following goods: [goods description]. Ordered on: [date]. Received on: [date]. My name: [name]. My address: [address]. Order reference: [reference]. Date of notice: [date]. Signature (only if sending on paper): [signature].
Payments and safety
Use the payment methods displayed within Fixonic checkout. Card payments may be processed by Stripe and eligible Fixonic-retail products may offer PayPal. Do not request bank transfer, cash, cryptocurrency, gift cards, Friends and Family payments, payment-app transfers or another off-platform method. Off-platform payments are not protected. Messages are automatically checked for payment-safety risks and may be reviewed by moderation.
Buyer-facing prices include the mandatory Fixonic Buyer Protection fee and standard delivery from the first price display. The item, delivery and protection amounts are itemised before payment. The current fee is 3% of item value plus £0.30, capped at £10 per order; it is calculated on item value only, not delivery. The order stores the exact rate and amount accepted at checkout, so a later policy change does not alter an existing order. A full eligible order refund includes this fee. The fee supports secure payment records, fraud screening, delivery monitoring, problem handling and eligible refunds; it is not an insurance product and does not reduce statutory rights.
Private sellers do not pay a listing-publication fee. A seller registered as a business incurs a £0.25 non-refundable listing fee each time a compliant marketplace listing is successfully published and made customer-visible, whether or not that listing later sells. Because a single £0.25 card charge can be below a payment provider's minimum transaction amount, Fixonic may accrue multiple business listing fees and collect the combined outstanding balance together. Ending, withdrawing, expiring or failing to sell a published listing does not refund or cancel its listing fee.
After a successful paid marketplace sale, Fixonic records a 10% standard seller fee on final item value, excluding separately stated delivery charges. A seller may also choose an optional promoted-listing percentage when publishing or editing an eligible listing. A 0% promotion rate means no paid promotion. Any selected promotion percentage is a separate seller success fee calculated on final item value and is charged only when that promoted listing produces a successful paid sale. Promoted placement can increase visibility among relevant marketplace results but does not guarantee a particular position, buyer, price or sale. The selected percentage is disclosed before publication and stored with the listing/order record.
Eligible business sellers may additionally choose a recurring seller subscription tier. The applicable price, billing interval and tier benefits are shown before subscription checkout. Subscription benefits apply only while the subscription is active and may be changed or cancelled in accordance with the terms shown for that plan. The buyer protection fee remains separate and is not deducted from or paid to the seller.
For third-party marketplace sales, Fixonic does not transfer seller proceeds immediately at checkout or immediately on delivery. Seller proceeds remain platform-held for a minimum 14-day post-delivery safety period and are released only when the order is eligible. An open order problem, refund, payment dispute, chargeback, risk restriction or other unresolved payment issue can continue to block or reverse a seller transfer. This payout safety hold is separate from, and does not create, an automatic buyer right to a refund.
Fixonic Shield fraud prevention
Fixonic Shield evaluates marketplace activity using account, transaction, device, network, payment, delivery, dispute, moderation and velocity signals. It can identify exact entries on Fixonic's internal risk list and privacy-preserving links between accounts, including repeated devices or payment and payout identifiers. A score may allow activity, increase monitoring, temporarily hold an action for review, or block an immediate high-risk attempt.
Fixonic may also compare one-way ListingDNA fingerprints of public listing text and images to identify possible cross-seller content reuse. A same-seller relist is treated separately. Strong cross-seller similarity may pause publication for human review, but similarity alone is not a fraud finding, policy strike or permanent ban.
Where Fixonic objectively records an original auction winner failing to pay, or a seller failing to dispatch a paid marketplace sale after the required deadline and grace period, Fixonic Shield may temporarily block the recent exact network-address fingerprint associated with that account. The current automatic periods normally escalate from 30 days for a first confirmed event to 90 and 270 days for repeats, capped at 365 days. The rule stores a keyed fingerprint rather than the raw address and does not automatically blacklist an entire subnet, household, mobile carrier or VPN range. The restriction expires automatically, can be revoked where the underlying decision is waived or corrected, and can be reviewed where a shared network has affected another user.
A risk flag is evidence for review, not proof of wrongdoing and not automatically a policy strike. Fixonic does not use protected characteristics to calculate the score. Users can request a human review through the Fixonic Shield review centre. A moderator can approve an activity, mark a false positive or uphold a restriction after reviewing the relevant evidence. Permanent marketplace bans remain subject to the confirmed three-strike rules below or another lawful, documented staff decision.
Policy violations and three-strike enforcement
A report, automated warning or detector flag is not itself a strike. Most alleged violations require human confirmation. Certain transaction events that Fixonic can verify from its own payment and fulfilment records, such as a seller repeatedly failing to dispatch a paid order after the promised deadline and grace period, may be recorded automatically as a confirmed conduct strike because the underlying event is objectively established. Users may ask Fixonic to review an automated conduct strike if there was a system, carrier, cancellation or other factual error.
Confirmed violations are account-wide, so buyer and seller violations count toward the same total. The first and second confirmed strikes result in an account warning. A third confirmed strike results in a permanent marketplace ban with no automatic expiry. When a third strike is confirmed, active seller listings may be ended and active private maximum bids removed so the banned account cannot continue participating in auctions. Transaction, payment, refund, dispute and evidence records may be retained where necessary to resolve existing matters or meet legal obligations.
Fixonic may overturn a strike or revoke a ban where a moderation decision was made in error or an appeal is upheld. This exceptional correction process does not create an automatic expiry for a valid three-strike ban.
User content and conduct
You grant Fixonic a non-exclusive licence to host and display content you submit for operating and promoting the marketplace. Do not post illegal, dangerous, counterfeit, abusive, deceptive, privacy-invasive or rights-infringing content. Users can report listings, messages and accounts and can block other users. Fixonic may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts to enforce these terms and protect users.
Repair Hub questions and answers publish immediately when they pass the community rules. Do not post personal data, passwords, serial numbers, advertising, private-contact requests, account or activation-lock bypass instructions, or advice presented as safe when you know it is dangerous. Votes and accepted answers reflect community activity, not a professional certification or guarantee. Reports are private and are reviewed before a moderator removes a contribution.
Repair Workbench checklists are planning aids generated from structured catalogue rules and any selected guide. They do not diagnose a fault, certify competence or guarantee a safe or successful repair. You remain responsible for verifying the exact model, following manufacturer safety information, isolating power and stopping where batteries, mains voltage, heat, chemicals or board-level work exceed your training.
Repair and safety information
Repair guides, community answers and compatibility indicators are informational. Repairs can involve electricity, heat, sharp tools, chemicals and damaged batteries. Assess your competence, isolate power, follow manufacturer guidance, use appropriate protective equipment and seek qualified help where needed. Do not rely on a vote score or accepted-answer mark as the only safety check.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Fixonic reliable but do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every listing, user or compatibility claim is error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Other liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Ending use and contact
You may stop using Fixonic and request account deletion at any time. Active transaction and legally required records may be retained as explained in the Privacy Policy. Contact legal@fixonic.co.uk with questions about these terms or licensing.
