Step 1

Place the Taptic Engine

(New) iPhone 15 Taptic Engine Installation — Place the Taptic Engine ⌕
  • Place the Taptic Engine into its slot in the frame.
Step 2

Install the Taptic Engine screw

(New) iPhone 15 Taptic Engine Installation — Install the Taptic Engine screw ⌕
  • Use a Phillips #000 driver to install the 1.9 mm‑long screw securing the Taptic Engine.
Step 3

Connect the Taptic Engine

(New) iPhone 15 Taptic Engine Installation — Connect the Taptic Engine ⌕
  • Use the flat end of a spudger to connect the Taptic Engine press connector.
Step 4

Install the Taptic Engine connector cover

  • Place the cover over the Taptic Engine connector.
Step 5

Repair step
